— The work

What the role is responsible for.

  • Develop system architectures for resilient energy, water, and logistics infrastructure.
  • Lead requirements definition with public-sector clients and hold the line on what is achievable.
  • Model failure propagation across coupled infrastructure and design the decoupling.
  • Oversee technical delivery through construction and commissioning.
  • Carry lessons from each deployment into the reference architecture.
— Required

What we need you to bring.

  • Eight or more years in infrastructure systems engineering, power systems, or large-scale civil delivery.
  • Experience owning technical scope on a project with a public-sector client.
  • Systems modelling capability and the numeracy behind it.
  • Comfort working across cultures and time zones for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel substantially.
— Preferred

Useful, not essential.

  • Chartered engineer status in a recognised jurisdiction.
  • Experience in climate-resilience or disaster-recovery infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of a second language relevant to APAC delivery.

We read the preferred list as a description of a useful background, not a checklist. Candidates who meet the required list and none of the preferred are regularly hired.

— The team

Who you would be joining.

Infrastructure Systems runs from Singapore with delivery teams standing up at each site. The group is deliberately generalist — engineers rotate across energy, water, and transport rather than specialising early.

— Conditions

What to know before you apply.

Public-sector work is conducted under disclosure terms set by the client. No clearance is required for this role.

All candidates undergo comprehensive vetting. Reasonable accommodation is available at any stage — say so in your first note and it will be arranged. We do not use unverified third-party recruiters, and we never ask a candidate for a fee.
