— The work

What the role is responsible for.

  • Implement and test features across mission system services and operator interfaces.
  • Write the tests before the review asks for them, and keep the build green.
  • Participate in code review as both author and reviewer from your first month.
  • Support integration events and on-site trials alongside senior engineers.
  • Document what you build to the standard the next engineer will need.
— Required

What we need you to bring.

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, or demonstrable equivalent practical background.
  • Solid programming ability in one systems or application language, and the willingness to learn another.
  • Understanding of networking, concurrency, and where they go wrong.
  • Clear written English; Korean is useful for site interaction.
  • Eligibility for sponsored Secret vetting.
— Preferred

Useful, not essential.

  • Exposure to real-time or embedded development.
  • Experience with Linux systems administration or containerised deployment.
  • Any prior work where software failure had a physical consequence.

We read the preferred list as a description of a useful background, not a checklist. Candidates who meet the required list and none of the preferred are regularly hired.

— The team

Who you would be joining.

The Seoul mission systems team is mid-sized and deliberately mixed — early-career engineers sit with the people whose code they are reviewing.

— Conditions

What to know before you apply.

Visa and relocation support are provided. Vetting is sponsored and does not need to be in place to apply.

All candidates undergo comprehensive vetting. Reasonable accommodation is available at any stage — say so in your first note and it will be arranged. We do not use unverified third-party recruiters, and we never ask a candidate for a fee.
